I was wondering about the price on the Bud Plant Fire Door.
I was also wondering about a fire door I picked up a few years ago that I use as a desk…it’s all wood inside covered with metal sheeting … why did they use wood (they are huge heavy planks).?
Our fire doors range in price from $300-$450 depending upon condition and whether or not they have windows. As for why they used wood in fire doors, it seems likely that building an entire door from metal would have been cost prohibitive or too heavy, so making the structure of the door from wood and then sheathing it in tin was a good, fireproof solution.
I am looking into fire doors. I am in Canada – would you can you ship to me?
Also could you give me the sizes of fire doors you have.
I need 3 total – 2 must be the same or a double fire door, the other can be unique.
Sorry for the delay, we have dozens of fire doors in stock. We can ship to Canada. Do you have some basic size you need?
