I think the cast iron turtle is for lawn refuse— when I was a kid, I had one of those in my backyard with a hole under the lid. We would press the button (ours was just a ribbed circle for grip) and toss leaves into it during the fall. It would all compost over the winter and spring, then we’d do it again the next year.
This is the kind of place i would love to work for…I’ve been fixing and restoring electronics and practically everything else my whole life, How does one break into this field? If you have ant suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated!
