The building was once the site of the Bureau Brothers Foundry, which was established in the 1870s by French immigrant brothers and was one of America's leading foundries.
Pieces that were cast here can be found throughout the Philadelphia area in locations such as Laurel Hill cemetery and Fairmount Park. Most notably, the General Ulysses S. Grant sculpture on Kelly Drive comes from this very foundry.
In 2016 PSCo. fully moved its operations into this historic building from its previous retail location in Mt. Airy continuing to grow their stewardship of Philadelphia's History. Housing one of a kind antique pieces this amazing location is a true treasure trove for all your DIY and home renovation needs.
